There are many distractions to keep us from our destinies.
"Proverbs 4:26-27 says, "Look straight ahead. Stick to the path and stay safe." There are many things that can sidetrack you from fulfilling your purpose. It could be living a meaningless life, wasting your precious on social media, hanging around people who have no ambition.
The fact is: we've all gotten off course at times, made mistakes, been distracted. The good news is: you can get back on course. It's not late, you can still become who you were created to be.
In the Book of Judges we find Samson who had lots of potential and possibilities. But he was distracted by his own pride, lust and fame. I can imagine many times along the way he heard a still small voice saying, "Come on Samson, get back on course."
Life is fast, it goes by quick. Don't waste your talent, money, God-given gifts, your time, your mentors and coaches time, be a good steward.
Don't be a Samson, who lost his favor, influence even his anointing.
But sometimes it's not the major things, not like we got off course like Samson, it's just little things that are taking our time and energy.
Is there any area you need to make a course-correction? Make the turn, make the changes needed, make the hard decision. God will give you courage and strength!
